Please click on the appropiate link below regarding your problem with e-mail (Outlook Express).
The host 'mail.onlyinternet.net' could not be found
There are two possible problems occuring.
- You are not connected to the Internet at the time, to automatically connect to the Internet
when opening Outlook Express, do the following:
- Click the "Start" button.
- Click "Settings".
- Click "Control Panel".
- Double-click on the icon labeled "Internet" or "Internet Options".
- Click on the tab labeled "Connection".
- Make sure either "Always dial default connection" or "Connect to the Internet using a modem" is selected.
- The mail server settings are incorrect. To make sure that they are correct, please do the following:
- Open Outlook Express.
- Click on the "Tools" menu and choose "Accounts".
- Click on the tab labeled "Mail".
- Click "Properties".
- Click on the tab labeled "Servers".
- Make sure both the Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server fields state "mail.onlyinternet.net".
Outlook Express keeps asking for my password
To make sure you have entered your username and password correctly, do the following:
- Open Outlook Express.
- Click on the "Tools" menu and choose "Accounts".
- Click on the tab labeled "Mail".
- Click Properties.
- Click on the tab labeled "Servers".
- Account Name field should read the first part of your e-mail
address up until the @ symbol. (i.e. if your e-mail address is
support@jayco.net then the account name would be support.)
- Make sure that your password is typed in exactly as specified. Usernames and passwords are case sensitive.
- Make sure there is a check in the box labeled "Remember Password" or "Save Password".
Unable to logon using Secure Password Authentication
You have Outlook Express set to use Secure Password Authentication, this is not
required, and will cause problems. To correct this, do the following:
- Open Outlook Express.
- Click on the "Tools" menu and choose "Accounts".
- Click on the tab labeled "Mail".
- Click Properties.
- Click on the tab labeled "Servers".
- Take the checkmark out of the box labeled "Log on using Secure Password Authentication".
There was a problem logging on, your password was rejected
To make sure you have entered your username and password correctly, do the following:
- Open Outlook Express.
- Click on the "Tools" menu and choose "Accounts".
- Click on the tab labeled "Mail".
- Click Properties.
- Click on the tab labeled "Servers".

I get an e-mail from "MAILER-DAEMON" saying my message could not be sent
Either there is a problem with the person's E-Mail server you are sending the
message to, or you have typed their E-Mail address in correctly. Please verify
the person's address, and that it is correct.
How do I set up my additional e-mail addresses
To configure an additional E-Mail account you will want to have Outlook Express
open, then do the following:
- Open Outlook Express.
- Click on the "Tools" menu and choose "Accounts".
- Click "Add" and choose "Mail" from the menu that appears.
- For "Display Name", type in your full name, then click "Next".
- For "E-Mail Address", type in your e-mail address you wish to set up, all lower case, with no
spaces, then click "Next".
- On the next screen you will be asked for the e-mail server names.
You will want to set the Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server fields
to mail.jayco.net, click "Next".
- The Account Name should already be filled in with the first part of your e-mail address, so type
in your password and click "Next".
- Click "Finish" then click "Close".
To setup additional e-mail addresses on your account
you may follow these directions replacing the proper areas with
the other e-mail addresses. When you are asked to select the account
in the "New Mail Rule" window, please note that the number in parenthesis
will be increased by one with each additional account, i.e. "mail.jayco.net(3)".
